Castrol Aircol SW 220 is a synthetic refrigeration lubricant which are formulated from polyolester base stocks. The Aircol SW grades have been formulated to enhance hydrolytic stability, load carrying and inhibition against copper plating. They are wax free and hence have very low pour points. This ensures the evaporator remains clean (consequent efficient heat transfer) and reduces the risk of pipe blockages.
